Handmade, natural and cruelty-free, these one-of-a-kind blends are packed with more than just shea butter.  Infused with nourishing oils and plant extracts, every product delivers deep moisture and long-lasting hydration for all skin types.

 

WHERE IT BEGAN

With my father being from the Ivory Coast, I grew up in  a household where shea butter was used on a regular basis. Always having a batch in the house, I was accustomed to seeing it around me. 

 

As I got older and began incorporating more products into my beauty routine, I noticed a lack of options that provided moisture and kept true to being natural and clean. I was alarmed by all of the chemicals and additives in the products I was using and as I did more research, I realized that many of the ingredients were harmful to my skin.

 

Seeing the benefits of using shea butter as an all-in-one product, paired with the lack of options in stores meeting my needs, I decided to develop my own line - SHEABINTA.

 

THE SOURCE

Shea butter is a key ingredient in my products, but finding high-quality, fair-trade shea butter was an ongoing challenge. After searching long and hard, a perfect fit was found.

 Every product includes shea butter made by women in West Africa who are paid fairly and have opportunities to develop their communities. Having a reliable source that offers fair payment and support to its women has been instrumental in ensuring SHEABINTA is true to its values. They've dedicated their lives to making the best shea butter, so you can be sure you’ll receive the freshest product possible every time.

 

THE PROCESS

There are tons of products on the market that claim to use unrefined shea butter but are actually full of additives, fragrances and various other ingredients. This obstacle has made me passionate about making products that are chemical-free.  With no parabens, sulphates or other unnatural ingredients, just pure goodness that cares for your skin.

 

The journey to make these products was not easy, but it was worth it. The result is a beautiful, creamy butter that has been handmade with love and is full of rich nutrients.
